Wine Club Policy
Monthly wine selection notifications will be sent via email on the first Wed of every month. Payment for the monthly selection will be automatically charged to the credit card on file for your account (required) on the first Sunday following notification. Example: The first Wed in Jan 2020 is on the 1st. An email notification will be sent on that day with the monthly club selection and other news. You will have the option to pick up your wine and make changes (some prefer two bottles of the dry wine etc.) until close of business on Sun. If you have not stopped to pick up your wine, your account will automatically be charged and the wine set aside for future pick up. No changes to club selections can be made at that point. This policy does not apply to members who have their wine shipped as those payments are processed at the time of shipping.
You are authorizing us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order. We make no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of Wisconsin. All shipments are scheduled for the first Monday of the month unless that day falls on a holiday. Those shipments will be sent of the next business day.
You must be 21 to Purchase Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages may only be sold and delivered to persons who are at least 21 years old and the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. An adult signature is required at time of delivery.
Club Notification Email
An email will be sent on the 1st Wednesday in the calendar month containing a brief description of the monthly selections along with news, events and other club member information.
Changes to wine club selections MUST be requested prior to close of business on the Sunday following delivery of the club notification email. Changes may be requested via phone, in-person or email. We will confirm availability and adjust your club selection accordingly. IF YOU DO NOT request a change prior to close of business Sunday, you will be required to take the original selection.
Cancellation of Membership
Once the 3 month minimum membership has been satisfied, members can cancel with no further obligation or cancellation fees. The cancellation date takes effect on the next month's shipment for direct ship customers.
If a shipment is damaged in transit we will replace the product at no additional charge.
Many factors beyond the control of Lost Island Wine, LLC can occur during shipment and after receipt by the customer. These factors include but are not limited to: handling, exposure to sunlight, and temperature. Due to the nature of our product and the above listed reasons, there will be no refunds.
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
